Fundaleu 2014 Gala...

Although I'm already in Paris, here some photos of the Fundaleu 2014 Gala, held last week in Buenos Aires...
Showing my shoes and clutch for the photographer of Hola Magazine...
Fabián Perechodnik invited me to his table. Thank you so much! Here, with his family and our dear Ambassador from Italy!
Back home... really late!

Style watch: Lanvin...

As you already know, Alber Elbaz's designs are among my favourite... Here, some examples...

My YES and NO from the Met Gala...

My YES...
Sarah Jessica Parker, by Oscar de la Renta
Charlize Theron, by Dior Haute Couture (and holding hands with Sean Penn...)
Giselle Bündchen, by Balenciaga
Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, by Balmain (my favourite)
Johnny Depp (by Ralph Lauren) and his girlfriend Amber Heard, by Giambattista Valli Haute Couture
Beyoncé, by Givenchy Haute Couture (Stunning!)
 My NO...
Kim Kardashian, by Lanvin (those legs look like hams!)
Victoria Beckham, with her own design (boring...)
Naomi Watts, by Givenchy Haute Couture
Monica Belluci, by Dolce & Gabbana (very matronly)
Lupita Nyong'o, by Prada (awful...)
Lily Allen, by Chanel Haute Couture (Also awful..)
And, in general, pretty much everybody else...

Kardashian...

One of my secret guilty pleasures is watching "Keeping Up with the Kardashians". I've seen almost all the seasons, I find it amusing, relaxing and I love the sisters...
However, no offence here, but considering Kim Kardashian as an elegant woman is just too much.
You can be curvy alright but exposing your curves like this is almost rude.
And not AT ALL elegant...

The Inspiration Gala amfAR 2014 - Sao Paulo...

amFAR is an American non-profit organisation, founded in 1985, with the aim of collaborating in the investigation of HIV, the treatment and education to prevent AIDS and spreading the achievements in the media. Every year they organise a Gala to announce the recent accomplishments and raise funds. Years ago I went to one of those galas, the one held at Mougin's Moulin, near Cannes, when Liz Taylor was the alma mater. Then came Sharon Stone, who is a very talented auctioneer and can sell almost anything.
I was very pleased to accept designers Gabriela Cadena's and Gustavo Cadile's invitation to attend this year's Gala in Sao Paulo this past Friday. It was, in addition, a great chance to visit city to which I've never been before. My friend Abraao Ferreira arranged all my stay (lovely the Hotel Emiliano!), my dress by Gustavo Cadile, the jewellery, etc.
With Gabriela Cadena and Abraao, ready to go.
The party was held at the amazing house of empresario Dinho Diniz, with guests such as Naomi Campbell (wearing a Riccardo Tisci for Givenchy Haute Couture dress), Kate Moss (in a red Saint Laurent) and many other beautiful models with designs by Valentino, Pucci, Elie Saab and other local designers.
The auction was hosted by a very energetic Sharon Stone, in a sexy black Cavalli.
All in all, almost 3 million dollars were raised, which is an extraordinary sum for a benefit gala.
To wrap-up the night, singer Mary J.Blige made everyone dance!
It was an unforgettable night. Yesterday, before returning to Buenos Aires, Abraao invited me, with a group of journalist of Elle Brazil, to lunch at Mani, the famous restaurant by chef Helena Rizzo, recently chosen as the best female chef in the world.  It was a real pleasure...

Oscars 2014: Red Carpet...

For me, absolutely the best. Stunning face and a very chic dress by Elie Saab.
Another beauty: Cate Blanchet, by Armani Privé. Definitely "nude" is always a favourite among the actresses in Hollywood.
The IT girl of 2014, such a good actress and fashion icon. Lupita Nyong'o in Prada: a look à la Halston style...
I love Jennifer Lawrence. Her performance in "American Hustle" is incredible. This Dior Couture dress seems a bit simple to me for such an important occasion...
I'm not liking Charlize Theron's Dior either, although she es one of the most beautiful women in Hollywood. This strapless wasn't fitting for her...
Nothing new here, but she looked really charming in this Alexander McQueen.
I definitely did not like Julia Roberts' dress...
And Penélope Cruz' Giambattista Valli either...

Lanvin F/W 2014-15

Refined and chic. Two words to describe Alber Elbaz's new collection.
Sober hues: blue, black, grey. So different from his previous collections, where shocking color and glow dominated the scene...
Some long and evasée-cut skirts, which have not been seen for quite some time, and also shorter versions for tailleurs or cocktail dresses.
It is always one of the most awaited runway shows, this time with a theatrical staging...
As many of the guests, I wore a S/S 2014 Lanvin dress...
(Nicholas Kirkwood's shoes)
Rihanna, special guest, was already wearing a look from the  F/W 2014-15 collection!
